McBryde Botanical Garden

Smith's Tropical Paradise

This 12 acre zoo is the only tropical rainforest zoo in the United States. It is home to more than 80 animal species including the endangered Nene (Hawaii State Bird) and Namaste', a white Bengal Tiger.
Parker Ranch Visitors Center
Location: Kamuela, Hawaii
Located in Waimea, the Ranch is one of the oldest ranches in the U.S. Visitors can learn more about the history and culture of the Ranch or take a Wagon Ride with Kohala Carriages to one of the oldest stone corrals.
The 182 acre park includes the pu`uhonua and a complex of archeological sites including: temple platforms, royal fishponds, and some coastal village sites. The temple and several thatched structures have been reconstructed.
Pu'ukohola Heiau Nat'l Historic Site
